I attended Chrissy’s Nonlinear Movement class via zoom during a time when I wasn’t even aware I needed it. Everything around me felt so unknown and I felt angry and robbed of my life (thank you pandemic). I thought I was attending a class to give me peace in a time of uncertainty, but what I really got was a tool for my anxiety. I can say it now, “I hate NOT being in control.” Chrissy’s class gave my body the chance to be in control; control to move in the way it needed to and feel the way it needed to. For 45 minutes my body had a platform to quiet my anxiety, hurt, and fear, and speak some truth. Thank you Chrissy for teaching this class and helping me listen to my body’s voice.
